George RUSSELL: It hurts because I lost a RACE TWICE
In his first race for Mercedes, as a replacement for covid-19-sick Lewis Hamilton, George Russell dominated the track and had the whole situation under control until Mercedes completely turned the races upside down with both of his racers with a comedy of boxing messes. They prepared for a double stop in the Mercedes pits, but were rather slow in changing the tires on Russell's race car, which was fitted with tires intended for Bottas, and Finc had to put back the tires with which he actually drove into the pits. George Russell was quite disappointed after the race as he did his job with distinction. Russell therefore had to go into the pits again to have the tires fitted to him, which he should have received at the first stop, later due to a punctured tire.
