On Sunday, September 22.9.2013, 2, the 9nd Drift Power Cup took place at the Blagomix racetrack in Logatec. As the foggy morning began to clear, the loud engines of the race cars also began to wake up, making sure the surroundings of the racetrack woke up to a sunny morning. At exactly 24:XNUMX a.m., the first racers began the warm-up laps. As the ground was still slightly slippery from the morning dew, quite a few drivers ended up in a cloud of smoke as it turned them around in the corners. That soon changed, as the newly laid track allowed for spectacular drifts and allowed race cars to reach high angles. Competitors were able to practice drifting with a co-driver, as the DRIFT TAXI took place until the qualifications, where each visitor could indulge in some adrenaline-filled laps in the passenger seat.   European Basketball Championship? No problem! National Gymnastics Championships? No problem! Drift in Slovenia? & $ %% # !! Mission impossible… almost! Once again, our extremely persistent group of boys managed to organize a drift match with us! As we all know, such competitions are very rarely organized in our country, for a million and one reasons. The fact that we do not have a single real track or that it is harder to get a permit for such competitions than a vignette for 50 euros is no longer worth mentioning. But okay, let’s take advantage of what we can! This time as well, as last year, the second match of the Drift Power Cup will take place in Logatec on the most well-known polygon, which will be slightly changed this time. You will be able to see more on Sunday, September 22, starting at 9 p.m. Course of the event:

Drift, Time Attack
Smooth asphalt, lighted track, the smell of burnt tires… That's it! The Saturday we’ve all been waiting for has passed too quickly. Behind us is another phenomenal Time attack, which this time, unlike the others, took place in the evening, and the layout of the route was changed - this time we also got the account of those who prefer the open type of route, and at the same time we were able to take advantage even those few live “horses” under the hood. Of course, the event was also enriched by Croatian and Slovenian drifters, who smoked the track with the sounds of turbots and strong sixes.
