In the race for the French Grand Prix last Sunday, a member of the Tech 3 Yamaha semi-factory team, Cal Crutchlow, finished second. He was only behind Dani Pedrosa and thus achieved his best result so far in the royal class.

In the fourth free practice before the race, the Briton fell badly and broke his shin. Despite the injury, he was given permission to take part in the race. Due to the mentioned fact, his achievement is even more commendable.

As he said, he is very pleased with the result. “It’s nice to be on the winning stage and I think it’s totally deserved. In dry conditions due to injury he could not be so competitive. So I was determined to finish the race in the top five. I didn't expect to win the stage, "said Cal after a hard race.

“In the end, I was intimidated by Marco Marquez as he approached me dangerously,” the Tech 3 Yamaha racer added.
