Japanese tire maker Bridgestone has ruled out the possibility of returning to the Formula One caravan. Bridgestone entered Formula One in 1997 and said goodbye to it at the end of the 2010 season, and their public relations spokesman said in the uncertain future of the current only F1 tiremaker that they had no plans to return: “We have no plans to re-enter Formula One. one. By participating in Formula One, Bridgestone has become more recognizable both in Europe and elsewhere in the world. The technology we acquired by developing tires for the F1 was successfully transferred to our road program. We can say that 14 years of Formula One involvement has been a turning point for Bridgestone, but given the current business environment, we have decided not to sign a new Formula One contract. ”
