Brad Binder has extended his contract with the KTM team, becoming the first racer in the elite class to have a guaranteed seat beyond 2024.
The South African's new contract with the Austrian team, of which he has been a member since his debut in the MotoGP class in 2020, runs until the end of the 2026 season.
Announcing the news, he said:
” I would like to thank everyone in the KTM team for the trust shown. I am very happy to continue to be a part of this team. The year 2015, when I joined KTM in Moto 3, seems like a long time ago. Behind us is an extraordinary journey full of successes and beautiful memories. I am sure that there will be many more in the future. We are getting closer to the goal we want to achieve."
