With Sunday's premier victory, Marco Bezzecchi ensured the continuation of the trend that has been going on since the 2019 season. In each of these seasons, we got a new winner of the MotoGP race.

2018 was thus the last year when only those who already had a victory in the elite class on their account won.

In the 2019 season, Alex Rins and Danilo Petrucci achieved their first victories. Let us remind you that the Spaniard celebrated in Austin, while the Italian celebrated in his native Mugello.

In 2020, when the world was marked by the coronavirus pandemic, as many as five racers stepped onto the top step of the podium for the first time. They were Brad Binder, Fabio Quartararo, Franco Morbidelli, Joan Mir and Miguel Oliveira.

In 2021, Francesco Bagnaja and Jorge Martin succeeded in doing so. Last year, Aleix Espargaro and Eneja Bastianini.
