Bezzecchi after an exceptional drive to the premier victory and the lead in the overall standings

Marco Bezzecchi is the sovereign winner of the second race of the season in Argentina. The Italian achieved his first victory in the elite class after taking the lead in the opening lap and then leaving his rivals far behind. With the win and a zero for Bagnaje, Bezzecchi also took the lead in the overall standings. Johann Zarco and Alex Marquez joined him on the podium.

Franco Morbidelli finished in fourth place ahead of Jorge Martin and Jack Miller. The Australian won as many as ten places in the race.

After a collision with Takaaki Nakagami in the opening lap, Fabio Quartararo slid all the way to the start and then managed to make it to seventh place.

Luca Marini was eighth, while Alex Rins and Fabio Di Giannantonio completed the top ten.

The only newcomer this year, Augusto Fernandez, finished in eleventh place.

It's a day to forget for the Aprilia team. Maverick Vinales finished in twelfth place and Aleix Espargaro in fifteenth place. Francesca Bagnaia and Brad Binder were the last to reach the finish line. The Ducati rider crashed on the eighteenth lap after being in second place. For the South African, a collision with Maverick Vinalese in the opening round was fatal.

The South African fell after colliding with Vinales in the fifth turn of the first lap, but managed to pick up the motorcycle and continue the race.
