The organizers of the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona have extended their contract until 2019, despite the fact that their contract would expire only after the race next year. Formula One races have been hosted there since 1991, but this year also with two pre-season tests. On the occasion of this year's 25th anniversary, racecourse chief Vicenc Aguilera said: "We are aiming for another 25 years."
