Autoslalom on Ljubečna is attractive for both drivers and spectators

This Sunday, 13 September 2015, one of the largest motoring events in Slovenia is being prepared at the car test site in Ljubečna near Celje. Autoslalom offers visitors a tour of attractive rides, and competitors can relax their adrenaline on the secured track. All drivers with a valid driver's license and a technically sound vehicle can be tested, all of which is probably the reason why car slaloms are very well attended. 70 competitors have already registered for Sunday's race, registration will also be possible on the day of the competition, and a special adrenaline surprise awaits the spectators.

Autoslalom is hard to expect among Slovenian drivers, as it allows all drivers to test themselves when driving between cones. Competitors are divided into classes by the organizers, according to the engine capacity of their steel horse. With all this, the organizers from AMD Šempeter make drivers aware of the importance of safe driving in road traffic in general. Because they can compete with serial vehicles in autoslalom, slalom ranks among the cheapest motorsports.

Drivers from all over Slovenia will compete at Ljubečna, and this year they will be joined by competitors from Croatia and Austria. The arrival of the Austrian driver Patrick Mayer, the winner of the last three races on Ljubečna, is hardly expected, and there will be no shortage of his challengers with quality cars.

The track at the Ljubečna car polygon will be especially attractive for both drivers and spectators this year. "We have slightly extended the route, it will also include driving around an attractive roundabout," explains Saša Friedrich, President of AMD Šempeter.

This will be the 10th race organized by the members of AMD Šempeter, so they have prepared interesting prizes for both drivers and spectators. The RO + SO car dealership will give one of the lucky winners a Weekend package with the new Fiat 500L Living. The Safe Driving Center ZŠAM Celje will contribute to safe driving training for deleting points. Before the race, one winner will be drawn, to whom AMD Šempeter will give a free entry fee for this year's race.
Entries and verification of competitors will take place until 7.30 am. There will be competition races between 8.30 am and 17.00 pm, and prizes will be awarded at 17.30 pm.
