After three years, the AŠ2005 Motorsport Association has given the green light for the Slovenian National Autocross Championship. At the meeting with the racers and former and future race organizers, the president of the association, Dagmar Šuster, stated that there is a lot of interest in the implementation of the DP in autocross, but unfortunately there are no suitable racetracks on Slovenian soil. , in Italy, Hungary and Austria, as part of their races.

The meeting elected an autocross commission consisting of president Miro Topolinjak from AMD Zvezda, and members Miran Prelog AMD Zvezda, Maks Kosec ŠD Tornado, Stane Grgič AMK Tunjice, Stane Sušnik ASC Mustang Domžale and Jure Hajnihar ŠD Utrip. The Commission will examine the possibilities for hosting the Croatian Rupa or Ozalj, and the Italian Gonars. The DP is expected to consist of four to five races, and the racer’s worst achievement would be erased from the overall standings.

If there are not enough races available, at least three should be run, with all results considered the championship.
