Aston Martin presents the "uncompromising" and aggressive racing car AMR23

The Aston Martin team has unveiled its racing car for the 2023 season, which it says is completely uncompromising.

The team's technical director, Dan Fallows, says that the AMR23, as the Silverstone team's latest race car is called, is 95% different from its predecessor. The first look reveals a heavily modified front wing, new, much more aggressive sides and a modified bonnet. "The AMR23 is the result of extensive development of the race car, which we completed in the 2022 season. We have improved it in all critical areas and optimized those that we believe can bring us improvement," said Fallows.

Joining the team this year is two-time world champion Fernando Alonso, who will replace Sebastian Vettel alongside Lance Stroll. The Spaniard hopes that the car will provide a good enough starting point for the team to start competing with the top three teams.

The launch of the AMR23 racecar took place at Aston Martin's new factory, which is expected to be completed in the next few months.
