More than 32 racers from ten European countries will take part in the 180nd Buzet Days. As many as nineteen formulas or prototypes will appear among them.
The Croatians are most looking forward to the arrival of the Italian Simone Faggioli, who set a track record last year with a time of 2: 11.858.
Buzet is traditionally the last stop of the European Mountain Speed Championship, so the highest places were awarded before this race. The racers here no longer had to drive at full speed, and the spectators were deprived of this. But this year the European champion will be crowned only after the race in Buzet!
Among the formulas, Faggioli leads, but he does not have an elusive advantage over his compatriot Faust Bormolini. Faggioli has therefore even canceled his participation in the race of the Italian national championship, which takes place on the same weekend, so this year he no longer has the chance to become the national champion of Italy.
As many as seven of the nine best formulas will compete in Buzet, and in the fight for the European title it will also be hot in the category of sports cars.
The race in Buzet will be the penultimate for racers in the fight for the Slovenian national championship.
