Alonso the fastest also in the last training session before qualifying

The Spaniard Fernando Alonso was also the fastest in the third and thus the last practice session for the Bahrain Grand Prix. The Aston Martin driver was 1 seconds faster than the current world champion, Max Verstappen, and 32.340 seconds faster than the second Red Bull driver, Sergio Perez, with a time of 0.005:0.106.

Lewis Hamilton was fourth with a time 0.215 seconds worse. The fifth time belonged to the Ferrari driver, Charles Leclerc, and George Russell, Lance Stroll, Carlos Sainz, Oscar Piastri and Pierre Gasly finished the training in the top ten.
