Alonso got his first practice

Fernando Alonso was the fastest in the first free practice for the Chinese Grand Prix. The Spanish Ferrari racer was a little less than four tenths faster than Nic Rosberg with Mercedes with a time of 1: 39.783. The third fastest was Daniel Ricciardo in Red Bull, who was almost a second behind Alonso.

Alonso's teammate Kimi Raikkonen spent most of the training in the garage due to technical problems. He only drove the setup lap and finished the training without time.
