Aleks Humar and Florjan Rus managed to defend last year's victory at the Saturnus Rally, although they were not among the main favorites due to the brand new car with only one pair of wheels. But the daring ride and some resin of the rivals was enough for an outstanding result. After a lot of problems, Alexander Saliuk and Yevgeny Chervonenko climbed to second place, and Hermann Gassner and Karin Thannhauser were third. But because the Germans competed with the old type of tires, they were replaced by Jani Trček and Vili Ošlaj in the official FIA European Cup classification.

Sunday's part of the rally was best started by Hermann Gassner, who ranked first, second and third on individual HPs, but in the last one he punctured a tire and lost a lot of time. Aleks Humar and the Ukrainian Saliuk took advantage of this and climbed to the top of the overall standings. The (poor) consolation for the German driver was the victory in the Mitropa Cup. Other drivers also had plenty of problems, Darko Peljhan experienced a turbocharger failure at the most inconvenient moment and lost more than five minutes of time. This cost him the podium in the competition of the DP of Slovenia, but his co-driver Tina Lazar won the competition in the competition of juniors up to 21 years of age. The second place behind Humar was won by Jani Trček among Slovenes, who found a much better racing rhythm on Sunday than on Saturday, and the punctured tire pushed Asja Zupanc to third place. He and his co-driver Blanka Kacin were hunting for Trček, but this time they did not succeed. That is why Alan Pajk was all the more satisfied with his new co-driver Jako Cevec. They did not repeat last year's victory in Division 2, but they won second place and convinced with an excellent run. Similar to the first race in Austria, the lowest step of the podium was occupied by Viliam Prodan, a Croat in a temporary race in Slovenia, and Jan Medved was fourth with an uncompetitive car. Rok Turk and young Tim Novak, who resigned on Saturday, won fifth and sixth place in the super rally, and Matej Grudnik was left without a result for the second time in a row. This time, the Velenje team was left in the lurch by the poles of his car and the team's efforts did not help him to reach the finish line.

Even in the smallest division 1, the fight was fierce until the last meters of the rally, and the victory, similarly to the Labotska valley, was taken by Andrej Velkavrh. He took advantage of the great pitch of leader Greg Premrl, who on Saturday morning first stopped on stage due to a broken gas wire, then drove off the road in the penultimate HP and lost so much time that he fell to third place. He was also overtaken by Klavdija Senica with co-driver Špela Trček. In Division H, Aleš Zrinski celebrated the birth of his son Martin with a nice victory, and in the Yugo Cup, last year's family tradition of Mlinar's victories was continued by the youngest, barely 18-year-old Simon.
