Yesterday, Saturday 18 May 2013, the 9th traditional Slovenian Day took place at the Croatian Grobnik racetrack. As usual, this year's event, full of adrenaline, fast motorcycles and beautiful girls, was attended by a good number of visitors.

Also this year, this "racing" event attracted many motorcyclists and other motorcycling fans. Despite the morning clouds, the wind soon drove the blackness over the racetrack and made for an unforgettable adrenaline day. Quite a few of those who came with their two-wheelers rode down the track or took part in free training sessions.

Morning training and a safe driving workshop were followed by races in three categories:

At 14.15 pm, the six-lap race "Lady cup" and "Best of the rest" started. With her Suzuki GSX-R 750, she won convincingly Manca Katrasnik.

At 14.45, a seven-lap race of the 600 to 750 cubic centimeter class followed. He also won this race convincingly Luka Boy with its Yamaha R6.

15 minutes after 15 pm, the most anticipated race of the Open class up to 1000 cubic centimeters followed. After eight rounds, the so-called Upper Sava Valentino Rossi won by a hair, John the Beggar and at the same time overtook the "fast Italian."

After a successful and well-spent day, we wish and are already looking forward to another Slovenian day at the Grobnik racetrack next year.
