The penultimate day of winter testing in Qatar, just two weeks before the first race of the season, is Alex Marquez fell for the fifth time, and the fall may have ended his pre-season preparations as he did broke one of the bones in his right foot.
Racer LCR Honda threw himself over the engine at high speed in the 9th turn of the Losail track, but after an ugly fall he otherwise drove back to the garages with Iker Lecuona from Tech3. Whether Marquez will be able to continue testing, however, will be known soon, as the Spaniard is in the hospital, where they are performing a more detailed medical examination.
