After a break at the top again both Mercedes

Nico Rosberg got his first free practice for the Belgian GP, ​​where the second part of the season begins after a one-month break. That the relationship hasn't changed much during this time is also evidenced by the results of the afternoon training, which Lewis Hamilton won in another Mercedes car.

Hamilton was six tenths faster than his teammate and rival in the fight for this year's world champion Rosberg in the afternoon, and the third was Fernando Alonso, who was also the third fastest in the first training session. The Spaniard was a tenth behind Rosberg.

They continued in good form at Williams. Felipe Massa was fourth and Valtteri Bottas sixth, with only McLarn racer Jenson Button returning.

Seventh was Toro Ross rookie Danil Kvjat, who was a few tenths better than Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciard. The latter was the only Red Bull representative on the track, as his teammate Sebastian Vettel was unable to drive on the track due to technical problems. The German was bothered by the exhaust system. There was a breakdown on it in the morning, which caused some more damage under the hood of the Red Bull RB10. The mechanics simply failed to repair the damage in a timely manner.

Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg finished in the top ten.

Even after the break, the pitch continues to stick to Finn Kimi Raikkonen, who was unable to drive the optimal lap after another engine operation problem. He finished training in sixteenth place.
