Rally team Hoonigan Racing Division has confirmed that their racer, 55-year-old Ken Block, has died after a tragic snowmobile accident in Utah.

"It is with the deepest regret that we can confirm that Ken Block died today in a snowmobile accident", they began with a note on Instagram.

"Ken was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon. And most importantly, a father and husband. He will be sorely missed. Please respect the family's privacy during this time of grieving," they continued.

The Wasatcha County Sheriff's Office, which was present at the scene of the accident, soon issued a statement:
"2.1. 2023 at approximately 14 p.m., XNUMX received a call about a snowmobile accident in the Mill Hollow area. Emergency responders, along with police officers and the US Forest Service, responded.
