The organizers of the mountain speed race in Lučine have published a list of registered racers, which includes as many as 81 names, which is a very nice number considering the fact that the race will not be considered the Croatian national championship.
Vaclav Janik (Lola B02 / 50) and Federico Liber (Gloria C8F) are considered the favorites on the technically demanding course. The former celebrated at this year's Gorjanci, and the latter celebrated victory at last year's race in Lučine, as his car, although quite underpowered in terms of power compared to other cars, proved to be solid.
Among Slovenian racers, we will miss Marjan Smrdelj this year, but after last year's absence, Vladimir Stankovič (Radical SR 8 LM) is returning, who will probably occupy the highest ranking among Slovenes.
The real eye-catcher will definitely be the Bulgarian Nikolaj Zlatkov with the legendary Audi Quattro S1 and the Italian Fulvio Giuliani with the Lancia Delta EVO. The best foreigners will definitely be mixed up by our racers. Matevž Boh, Davor Ivič, Rado Raspet and Milan Bubnič (the latter was also registered last year, but unfortunately he was not present at the race).
