According to Slovakiaring, the next challenge - the former F1 track - the Red Bull Ring in Austria, was already waiting for the competitors of the Slovenian circuit-speed national championship and the LEMA GP Cup last weekend.

For the last two years, the Red Bull Ring has been the scene of the introduction to the Slovenian Championship, and this time the third and fourth races of the already tense season took place here.

At the forefront of the event, of course, was again the LEMA GP Cup with eight drivers in very even fiat grande punts. The race was won by young promising drivers, the first by Lodi from Trieste and the second by Slovenian foreigner Pertot, who had to resign in Sunday morning's race. Jure Marinšek and Aleš Bužga also took the podium this weekend. Lodi is currently leading in the cup scoring ahead of Klemen Popit and Pertoto.

In the general classification, Zoran Poglajen reigned with the Renault Clio Cup.

The season will continue on June 23 at Grobnik in Croatia, followed by a break until August 25, when the race will be re-organized at Slovakiaring in Slovakia. The season will end at the Hungarian Panoniaring on October 6th.

The same weekend, the first race for the European Cup with the Renault Clii RS took place at the Italian racetrack Dino and Enzo Ferrari in Imola.

Ivan Pulić started the first free practice well and after only a few laps he set the seventh time on the legendary track in Imola. Teammate Niki Belohgradski started a bit more restrained and slowly got to know the track. In the end, he placed 22nd among 38 drivers.

Saturday’s qualifiers took place in cloudy weather, after which it started to rain lightly. LEMA had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. Ivan had to settle for only 12th qualifying time and Niki 23rd. The second fastest qualifying times were taken into account for the second race, which meant Ivan's 7th and Niki's 23rd starting place.

Despite somewhat unsuccessful qualifications due to bad weather, Ivan collected himself excellently and managed to achieve more than an excellent 6th place in the first race on Sunday. Niki, on the other hand, took 16th place out of 38 - apparently - very even drivers. In the afternoon race, however, Ivan finished 12th, while Niki flew into the sand and ended his performance prematurely.

After the first weekend, both LEMA drivers are happy with their performances. Ivan stated that the fight was from start to finish, as there were about 10 drivers in two seconds difference at the end of the race. He is happy with the car, so he goes on with optimism. Already these days, both drivers are training at the Adria racetrack.
