F1 will continue to race on the streets of the Principality of Monaco as a new three-year contract was signed on Tuesday.

The future of the prestigious race has been in question in recent weeks and months due to many obstacles and details, but Stefano Domenicali announced today that Monaco will remain on the F1 racing calendar until at least 2025.

According to some estimates, Monaco paid "only" 15 million euros for a place on the calendar, or at least half less than most other racetracks, so F1 tried either to increase the fee, or the place on the calendar would go to another organizer.

The owners of F1 are also said not to like the fact that they hired their own director to broadcast the races, instead of the employees of F1 TV taking care of it. it was also controversial that Monaco allowed its own sponsors at the track, which were often controversial for some Formula 1 partners. One such example is TAG Heuer, which advertised at the race last year, but is a direct competitor of the official Rolex timekeeper.
