VR46 rider Luca Marini says it would be fantastic to see Marc Marquez on Ducati if the Spaniard joins the Gresini team next season, but he does not believe the Spaniard will leave Honda.
"I would really like to see that," he said regarding the possibility of Marquez's transfer. "It would be fantastic to see a racer of his caliber on my bike, because then I could compare myself to him. Marc still has a lot to show. Is he playing around with Honda right now? I don't know, but I myself wouldn't give up the 12 million per season he's making now. Even the motorcycle is not what it was at the beginning of the season. They have made good progress and I would be surprised if he left Honda now.”
