Spanish colleagues at DAZN listened to feedback from Marc Marquez during testing in the garage of the Gresini team.
The six-time MotoGP world champion was mainly satisfied with the grip of the rear tire, which he lacked on the Honda motorcycle in recent seasons. According to Marquez, the Ducati motorcycle is less physically demanding compared to the Honda.
Although he expected problems with cornering when observing the Ducati racers, he was completely satisfied after the tests, and even said that he had no problems whatsoever.
However, during the test day, the former Honda racer asked for some changes to the shape of the seat, while he estimated that the motorcycle could be better on acceleration if the feel of the front end could be improved.
One of the bigger concerns is braking, as the rear wheel lifts off the ground when braking (too) hard, and braking could be crucial in the coming season.
