Alex Rins took the points at the Portuguese Grand Prix but said at the end of the race weekend that he wanted something new on the bike, as he was very annoyed by the difficult overtaking on the current Honda bike.
"the most difficult part is overtaking," he explained. "I'm angry because, except at the start, I couldn't overtake any racer. It was a real mess. When Fabio overtook me, I was able to follow him, but I had a lot of problems. In the last part of the race I was losing grip on the front tire. I did my best and drove at the limit of the engine. The situation reminds me of the season at Suzuki, where I was losing on the straights, and then made up for everything lost in the corners.
I would be very happy if Honda in Argentina would offer me something new. The track may suit us better, but there are also long straights," he added.
