Ford's technology for jumping potholes in the roads

Slovenian roads, despite the fact that we pay high fees for their maintenance at each vehicle registration, are more and more similar to Swiss cheese every day - full of holes. They affect not only our buttocks, but also our steel horse, and consequently our wallet.

Since those responsible are not moved at all by our lamentations, it does not seem that the situation will soon turn for the better. At Ford, however, they seem to hear our pleas "let someone do something about these holes!" put a car on the road that simply skips potholes. Ford’s 2017 Fusion S model boasts active suspension that detects a hole in the road in front of the car and shrinks the wheel shock absorber that will drive over the hole. With a car, we hardly feel when we "jump" over the hole. The only question that remains is how big holes we can jump over, but this information is of course also related to the speed of our ride.

In any case, this is a welcome invention for our roads.
