Aleix Espargaro revealed the details of the dispute with Marco Bezzecchi, who said in the media that "someone" is crying like a little child about overtaking.

The Aprilia rider left Portugal worried about a number of injuries during the first race weekend of the MotoGP weekend. Four riders will miss the Argentine GP due to injuries sustained in Portugal and Espargaro says MotoGP is not a war.

Bezzechhi was angry after the sprint race because of a collision with one of his rivals, whom he did not name, but said: "Some racers cry at safety committee meetings because of overtaking. They cry like little children, and then, at the first opportunity, they do something completely stupid and ruin the race. It's interesting that three racers complain all the time and one of them, who complained about me several times last year, caused a crash today. I don't understand why he complains so much about me and then does the same thing.”

The words of the member of the VR46 team were clearly aimed at Aleix Espargaro, with whom he almost hit during free practice, as Espargaro replied to his words: "Marco said on Saturday that I almost knocked down all the competitors in front of me in the third corner. This pisses me off because I believe I am a pure racer. I would like to continue to be the cleanest racer on the starting line. I didn't want to overtake on Sunday, even though I was a second faster than the guys in front of me. But I didn't see a place to overtake, so I finished the race behind them because I didn't force an accident. I would like to be a pure racer, so if I can overtake, then I will, if I can't, I won't.”
