Nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi has said he is very pleased with the course of the tests they conducted before the season. As he says, he is most looking forward to testing in Austin, which will pose a real challenge for his Yamaha.
The private testing, which will last three days, will be attended by the Honda and Yamaha factory teams and the LCR Honda semi-factory team. According to the racing doctor, he was a concrete competitor to other racers in Sepang, but in Austin the story is completely different, as he doesn't know the track because he hasn't been there yet. This can be the toughest test so far, and he fears the racetrack might not fit a motorcycle.
The next official test for the motoGP class will take place from March 23 to 25 in Jerez.
