13.000 km by electric taxi around Ljubljana

The Elektro Ljubljana Group, together with Renault Nissan Slovenija and Taxi Laguna, participated in the ZE TAXI project last week. The inhabitants of Ljubljana were offered an alternative mode of urban transport - ZE TAXI, driving with 100% electric vehicles ZE "zero emission" or. "No emissions", even for free.

From 5 to 14 June, 1107 rides were performed as part of the campaign, on which as many as 13.014 kilometers were covered on 100% electricity. The aim of the campaign was to contribute to increasing the popularity and visibility of sustainable mobility. ZE TAXI offered another special feature that users of conventional taxi services are not used to, as each passenger had the opportunity to become a driver and test a 100% electric vehicle in practice himself.

Andrej Ribič, President of the Management Board of Elektro Ljubljana, also sat behind the wheel of the ZE taxi and drove to a meeting with Matjaž Križnar, Sales Director for Large Customers at Renault. During the meeting, Andrej Ribič said with satisfaction: “We are enthusiastic about the response of ZETAXI service users and we are convinced that the campaign has significantly contributed to the promotion and development of e-mobility. The campaign was designed in a completely sustainable way, as all the charges were made with green energy. "

As part of the campaign, one tonne less CO2 emissions were generated, which is the amount caused per year by the average vehicle user in Slovenia.
